Pipe Driver Systems

A pipe driver system is a means of causing the action that makes pipes sound to be activated by the console.

The Console Capture System sends appropriate signals to the main System, whose Central Processor Board supplies the Pipe Link Board with signals it transmits to the Master Pipe Controller Box, which in turn feeds a number of Slave Pipe Controller Boxes, which each feed up to six Pipe Driver Cards wired to appropriate solenoids.  The pipe controllers and driver cards can be placed very close to soundboards, making for very tidy installations.
