    This instrument is among the largest new tracker organs built in Britain in the last few years.  It has a pure mechanical key action without any pneumatic assistance and a sophisticated electric stop action with a multi-level memory, incorporating Kapcard.  The case is of solid oak and incorporates sycamore screens, colouring, and gilded lettering.  The carving by Derek Riley is a celebration of Scottish flora and fauna as well as a depiction of Scotland's most famous dog, Greyfriars Bobby.  The comprehensive specification incorporates some pipes from the mid 19th century instrument by Hamilton.  The Swell division is placed under the Great and has a large shutter facing backwards.  Above the console another small set of sutters operated by a trigger pedal is to be found behind a strap
